Saramonic SR-XMS2 BROADCAST-QUALITY X/Y STEREO LAVALIER OMNIDIRECTIONAL MICROPHONE

The Saramonic SR-XMS2 is a wired lavalier stereo microphone that delivers broadcast-quality sound and can easily be used with DSLRs, mirrorless cameras, camcorders, audio recorders, smartphones and more. Even though the microphone head of the SR-XMS2 is remarkably compact, it features two separate capsules that capture rich stereo sound. This microphone is extremely easy to use and never requires batteries or charging.

The SR-XMS2 features an omnidirectional pickup pattern that provides smooth, even sound quality regardless of how it’s positioned when attached to collars and other clothing. An included alligator-style microphone clip provides a secure grip that keeps it fastened in place. Its standard 1/8“ (3.5mm) output connector is compatible with most cameras, audio recorders and other equipment.

The SR-XMS2 features a 20-foot (6m) cable that gives you plenty of length to position your subject in front of a camera or accomplish other microphone positioning techniques. A foam windscreen is included to diffuse unwanted wind noise. The SR-XMS2 is an inexpensive stereo lavalier microphone that provides impressive sound quality and a higher signal-to-noise ratio than other options on the market, such as the more expensive Rode smartLav+.
