The combo input on the SmartRig DI allows you to plug in either 3-pin XLR or 1/4” (6.35mm) connectors. The 1/4” (6.35mm) input is impedance-matched to provide the best sound quality for electric guitars, basses, and acoustic instruments with pickups. A headphone jack enables you to hear your sound — whether you’re laying down a track on a new song, recording a podcast episode in the field, or shooting a viral video for YouTube. The headphone output can be used to add a 1.8” (3.5 mm) headphone jack to an iPhone 7, 8, X, XS and XR.
